Mobile internet use also grew. It increased by 12%. This is because 7.9 million more people are using mobile internet. Fixed internet services grew by 36%. This added 1 million new users.

1. Short entertainment videos: Users uploaded and shared fun videos. Apps like Kwai and Likee saw growth. Daily video viewing reached 14.6 million hours. This is a 60% increase.
2. Email: Sending and receiving emails grew by 12%. Apps like Gmail are popular.
3. Map searches: People used map apps like Google Maps more. Searches increased by 29%.
4. Watching entertainment content: Streaming services like Netflix saw huge growth. Daily watch time reached 43.7 million hours. This is a 67% increase, the highest among all categories.
5. Online shopping: Buying things online grew by 10%. Sites like Amazon and Jumia are used more.
6. Browsing and downloading: General internet browsing saw a 12% increase. Users accessed news, education, and download content.
7. Social media platforms: Use of Facebook, Twitter, and similar apps grew by 5%.
8. Search engines: Google and Bing searches grew by 13%.
9. Online games: Playing internet games increased by 21%.
10. Online chat: Messaging apps like WhatsApp and Telegram grew by 6%.
11. Live video streaming: Sharing live videos on social media grew by 35%.
12. Remote meetings: Using apps like Zoom for meetings grew by 7%.
