Google announced an update for its AI Mode in Google Search. The AI can now check if nearby stores have the items you need. It can also track hotel prices directly in Google Search.
With the new AI Mode update, Google can contact local stores for you. It will find out which store sells the product you are looking for. This makes shopping easier.
Google first launched this feature in Search last November. It is now coming to AI Mode in the US. This update will be available in the next few weeks. TechCrunch reported this news.
You can tell the AI what you need. For example, say: "I forgot my prescription sunglasses. I need to find sunglasses that fit over my current ones. Where can I get them nearby?" Google will then contact stores and send you the details.
Before, you could track hotel prices for a whole city. Now, the update lets you track prices for a specific hotel. You can find the exact hotel you want to stay in.
On computers, search for the hotel name. Then, turn on the new price tracking option. On mobile phones, find the "Prices" tab after searching. If you turn this on, you will get an email alert. The alert will tell you if the price changes for your chosen dates.
