Because of these efforts, the kingdom now leads global cybersecurity indexes. This includes the World Competitiveness Yearbook 2026. The United Nations also recognized Saudi Arabia. Its agency, the ITU, called the kingdom a leading model. This was in its latest Global Cybersecurity Index report. Saudi Arabia is in the highest category, 'Role-Model'.
