Samsung is ready to release the One UI 8.5 update. This update looks like a big change, not just a normal update. It has many visual and useful improvements. These will make using your phone much better.
Here are the top 5 expected features. They might redefine the Galaxy phone interface. This is based on a report from gizmochina, seen by The Business.
New Liquid Glass Design
For the first time, Samsung offers a "Liquid Glass" design. It uses clear, glass-like effects and floating elements. This style is similar to what Apple uses.
The new design shows up in basic apps. These include Settings, Phone, and Gallery. It has floating navigation bars. Blur effects give the interface a deeper, stylish look.
Fast Control Panel
The Quick Panel settings got their biggest update ever. Users can:
- Move items around freely.
- Change button sizes.
- Set the layout to horizontal or vertical.
- Delete all shortcuts if they want.
This flexibility gives users full control over the interface. They can also easily go back to the default look.
Smarter AI Calls
The update greatly improves phone calls. Your phone can answer unknown calls automatically. It shows a live text of why they are calling. This helps you decide without interruption.
The system also supports:
- Auto-reply after a set time.
- Turning calls into live text.
- Recording voicemail directly on the device.
- Instant text display during message recording.
These features are a big jump from older solutions like Bixby Text Call.
Creative Studio App for AI Art
Samsung added a new app called Creative Studio. It lets you create:
- Custom wallpapers.
- Stickers.
- Greeting cards.
- Invitations and visual content.
You can use text, drawings, or photos. It supports art styles like oil painting and sketches.
File Sharing Without Limits
In a notable move, Samsung improved file sharing. It is now easier to share files with Apple devices. You can send files to iPhone, iPad, and Mac easily. This works like AirDrop.
You can also access files on other Galaxy devices. Use the "My Files" app for this. It boosts integration within the Samsung ecosystem.
A Future-Like Experience
With this update, Samsung confirms its direction. It aims to blend AI and deep customization into its interface. This offers a smarter, smoother experience.
Between the new design and useful features, One UI 8.5 seems more than just an update. It is a new step toward a more advanced user experience on Galaxy phones.
