The social media platform X, owned by Elon Musk, is almost fully working again. Many users around the world had trouble using the platform on Monday.
The outage started around 9:00 AM EST. Down Detector reported over 25,000 outage reports in the US. Reports then dropped to about 620. This site tracks outages by collecting status reports.
In Canada, outage reports fell to about 30. This was after a peak of over 3,400 reports. The UK also saw fewer reported issues. This is after over 9,000 reports earlier in the day, Reuters said.
Users in other countries also had problems. Saudi Arabia and Egypt were among them. They reported trouble using X during the same time.
Users reported problems such as not being able to refresh their feeds. This happened on the X app for mobile phones and the website.
