Yoto has launched new audio players for children. These are the 4th generation Yoto Player and Yoto Mini. Prices start at $149.99 and $109.99.
These devices help parents give kids easy access to stories and music. They have faster parts, more storage, and a new "Green Button." This button lets kids play favorite content without needing a card or a parent's phone.
This idea is like Amazon's Sleep Studio. That feature turns Echo devices into tools that help kids relax and sleep, according to digitaltrends.
One Green Button for All Favorite Content
Parents can set up the "Green Button" using the free Yoto app. They can choose up to 20 favorite stories, songs, podcasts, or timers. You can also add sound effects.
Once set up, kids can choose and play content directly from the device. Parents can make different playlists for morning and evening. Yoto still uses its Yoto Cards for discovering new content and for gifts.

The "Green Button" makes listening to favorites easier. It can also access digital cards and free audio content, like tooth-brushing timers. Each player comes with a free Yoto Originals card, a "Make Your Own Card," and stickers.
Sleep Routines Made Easier
The larger Yoto Player has improved routine features. It can automatically change audio content, the night light, and clock indicators during the day. For example, parents can set it to play a morning podcast. Then, it can switch to calm stories and sleep sounds in the evening.
The player has a new, full-panel night light. Users can pick from 7 colors and adjust brightness. It also has day/night modes and an "OK-to-Wake" mode to help kids know when to get up. The Player also offers stereo sound, wireless charging, and USB-C charging. It has a replaceable battery, with Yoto planning a battery replacement kit in 2027.
Yoto Mini Designed for Outdoor Fun
Both devices have a new processor. They also support Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 6.1. Storage is now 64GB, double the last version. This is enough for over 1,000 hours of offline audio. Yoto promises faster content downloads and a two-year warranty.
The Yoto Mini is now IP67 rated for dust and water resistance. This makes it great for playgrounds, water splashes, or accidental drops in puddles. The Mini supports wired and Bluetooth headphones. Yoto says both players have volume controls made for kids.
New Accessories and Prices Start at $109.99
Yoto also released new accessories. These include silicone "Adventure Jackets." They cost $22.99 for the Mini and $29.99 for the Player. The Mini Travel Case costs about $34.99 and works with the original Mini and the 4th gen model. The current wireless charging dock still works with the new, larger Yoto Player.
Pre-orders for both devices start September 10th on Yoto's website. The Mini can also be pre-ordered from Amazon. Yoto Mini is expected to ship by September 30th, followed by the Yoto Player on October 15th.
For families with Yoto cards, the new players are a good upgrade. The "Green Button" might become the most used feature. It makes playing favorite stories and songs easy, without needing cards or a parent's phone.
